Arlene Marie Christian, 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was a seamstress in the garment and shoe industry during for many years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping at Coleman’s Park with her family and friends. She enjoyed working in her garden and doing word search puzzles. She especially enjoyed taking care of her family.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Dr. Kevin Clayton and Bro. Tracy McMillen officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Robbin Reeder (Glen); one son, Stephen Christian (Sheila); four grandchildren, Brittni Blake (Levi), Carli Minga (Collin), Heather Cox (Rick), Carson Christian (fiancé Jasmine Sheffield) ; seven great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Blake, Dallas Blake, Colton Minga, Mary Catherine Minga, Wesley Cox, Charli-Ann Cox, and Coda Cox; two dear friends, Sue Spencer Hughes and Sue Guntharp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Christian; one sister, Pat Adams; one brother, Bobby Chabowski; a special friend, Kathleen Lewis; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Carson Christian, Wesley Cox, Collin Minga, Levi Blake, Glen Reeder, and Rick Cox.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Cares at Bethel Baptist Church, 445 Bethel Church Road, Fulton, MS 38843, or any hospice care facility of the donor’s choice.
