A Celebration of Life service for Harold W. Veinot, 88, will be Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Church at Stone River with Rev. Sandra Locke Godbey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church.
Mr. Veinot passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 24, 1937, in Massachusetts, to Harold S. Veinot and Lorraine L. Sampson, who preceded him in death.
He retired after 20 years of service from the United States Army. He was proud to serve his country. He also retired after 23 years of service, from the United States Postal Service, as a letter carrier, and a Union leader. He was a Christian man and a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
