Mr. Richard Nelson Lowden, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and
friend, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on November
18, 1951, he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his
family. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Jenette, loving children: Sue
Sampson, Richard Jr. (Sherry) Lowden, Preston (Susan) Lowden, Jason
(Tara) Lowden, Brian (Jennifer) Lowden, and Steve (Toni) Lowden. He is
also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom
brought immense joy into his life. In addition, Richard is survived by his
siblings, Margaret Koontz, Terry Lowden, John Lowden, and Julia Laney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Lowden, his
first wife, Ruby Lowden, and his sister, Diana Thurmond. Richard will be
remembered for his kind heart, unwavering love for his family, and his
dedication to those around him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his
memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
