Funeral service for Mrs. Mae Ella Carter will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Round Island Creek Mission Center (13829 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, AL 35611) with Dr. Michael Timberlake, Jr. officiating, with Royal Funeral Home-Mason Chapel, directing.
Interment will be in the Thatch Mann Cemetery, 1801 W Hobbs St, Athens, AL 35611.
Mrs. Carter will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2026 and from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Royal Funeral Home-Mason Chapel, 718 Browns Ferry Street, Athens, AL 35611.
