Betty Owens Cranford, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 81. Betty is survived by her loving children, Torrie (Marianne) Cranford and Tammy Cranford (Wendy) Wilkerson. She will be dearly missed by her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Singleton, Tanner (Jeska) Cranford, Tyler (Jordan) Wilkerson, Taylor (Bobby) Wilson, Ryleigh Morland, Clay Morland, Raven (JD) Cotton, and Jeremy (Brosha) Nelms. Betty’s legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Tyson, Sawyer, Cooper, Millie, Emma, Cashdyn, James, Zander, Townsend, and Paisley. She is also survived by her brother, Danny (Gail) Owens, niece Jeana Owens, great-nieces Erica Sims and Kristen Sims, great-nephew Brandon Owens, and great-great-niece Gracyn Sims. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice Cranford, niece Julie Owens Sims, great-nephew Trevor Sims, and her special friend, Lonnie Jowers. Betty will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and love that she generously shared with her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, but she will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her. A memorial service to honor Betty’s life will be held at the home of Danny and Gail Owens on May 2, 2026, from 2:00pm til 4:00pm. May she rest in eternal peace.
