Donna Fay Langston Todd of Harvest, AL, formerly of Alder Springs Community, was born July 30, 1936 in Crossville, Alabama and passed away April 29, 2026 in Harvest, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Calvin Todd. She is survived by her four children Johnny (Kitty) Todd, Karen Lurwig, Chris (Kim) Todd, and Amy (Brian) Decker. She has eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. More than fifty children know her as Nanny from her many years of caring for children in her home.
Fay opened her home many times for people in need of love and care. She enjoyed making chocolate syrup and biscuits for her family. She enjoyed travel and visited 46 of the 48 continental states.
Fay Todd was a Sunday School teacher at Alder Springs Presbyterian Church for more than thirty years. She sang Alto in the Church choir. A generation of Preachers, Missionaries, Elders, and Teachers are the legacy of her teaching.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Alder Springs Cemetery. Bro. Chris Todd will officiate her service. Pallbearers will be Aaron Todd, Daniel Morgan, John Todd, Joshua Todd, Richard McCullars and Brian Decker.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before the service at Albertville Memorial Chapel.
