She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church. She served Christ faithfully in this life. She raised her family in church. She loved her Sunday School class and all of her church family.

Affectionately known as Ms. Ruby. She was a substitute teacher for many years at Skyline Elementary and High school. It is amusing to recall how she had already been notified by the teacher if one of us had misbehaved, before we stepped off the school bus. She was loved by many of our teachers and fellow students.

Dad could be heard saying, ” Everybody loved Ms. Ruby…every friend we ever had was because of her. She didn’t have an enemy.”

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter in law, sister-in-law, aunt, sister in Christ and a good friend to anyone who knew her. Her absence is profoundly felt by her loved ones.
