Geraldine “Jeri” Howell Daniel, age 85, of Fayette, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at DCH of Tuscaloosa. Services for Mrs. Daniel will be Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Rev. Bo Loyd will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Chloe Howell, and the love of her life, her husband, Wayne Daniel. Jeri was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, and the joy she brought to those around her. She is survived by her sons, Doug (Tina) Daniel and Brent (Trina) Daniel and a sister, Marilyn Pemberton. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Courtney (Brandon) Rickman, Camaren (Blake) Hammond, Trevor (Abbey) Daniel, Brandon (Bailey) Daniel, and Cole Daniel. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Bentley, Brooklyn, Noah, Ally Rose, and Sara Masyn. Jeri’s life was a testament to love, family, and devotion, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Trever Daniel, Brandon Daniel, Cole Daniel, Brandon Rickman, Blake Hammond, and David Logan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Newman, John Cross, and Jim Finley.
