Deadie Ann Conner, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Ozro Kincade and Marie Clay Kincade; and her siblings, JB (Edna) Kincade, Jimmy (Betty) Kincade, and Curly Kincade.

She is survived by her husband, William Howard Conner; her son, Billy (Lori) Conner; sister-in-law Mary Ann Kincade and her beloved pet, “Cat.”

Ann will be remembered as a feisty woman with a wonderful sense of humor who brought laughter to those around her. She was a tremendous cook, fondly known for her delicious fried chicken and chocolate pie—meals that brought family and friends together and created lasting memories.

She had a passion for flea markets and antiques, both as an enthusiastic shopper and as a dealer of antique furniture. Ann also had a deep love for flowers, especially sunflowers and yellow roses, which reflected her bright and cheerful spirit.

Music and tradition were close to her heart. She enjoyed bluegrass music and was once a proud member of a clogging team, sharing her energy and joy with others through dance.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, at Faith Lutheran Church, 2640 Buckner Road, Thompson’s Station, Tennessee. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sheboss Cemetery in Hampshire, Tennessee.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Woody, Patrick Fisk, Jim Pennington, Jerry Brumley, Earnest Paul Conner, and Kevin Kincade, with Mark Ziegler serving as an alternate.

Ann’s warmth, humor, and love for her family will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
