Mr. Glenn Craig Shell, age 86, passed away on April 23, 2026, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice. He was born on June 29, 1939, to the late Arthur Lester “Tack” Shell and Maggie Sue Craig Shell.
Mr. Shell proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later worked faithfully for Arbor Acres for more than 35 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability. He was also a devoted member of Brashers Chapel Church, where his faith remained an important part of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Linda Judy Rhodarmer Shell, who passed away in 2020; and brothers, Thomas Shell, Doyle Shell, and Reid Shell.
He is survived by his children, Jeffery Glenn Shell, Deborah Denise Bethune (Shannon), and Kimberly Renee Jackson (Allan); grandchildren, Ryan Craig Kilpatrick (Allison), Erin Lashell Koratkar (Rohit), and Jonna Morgan Shell; great-grandchildren, Caroline Grace Kilpatrick and Nathan O’Neal Kilpatrick; siblings, Adrian Shell, Grady Shell, Brenda Driver, and Joyce Davis (Tommy); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Marshall Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday at Adams Brown Service Funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will include; Mike Shell, Terry Shell, Rodney Shell, Paul Shell, Raymond Shell, Kyle Shell, John Driver, and Kevin Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to Brashers Chapel Church or Shepherds Cove Hospice. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home assisting the family.
