Kenneth Glenn Kelley, 88, passed away peacefully at his home in Florence, AL April 23, 2026. He graduated from Central High School in 1955 and married his high school sweetheart, Elaine Kelley, in 1957. Kenneth worked most of his career in the glass industry in Birmingham, AL. He spent countless hours creating beautiful stained glass art pieces for friends and family.
He was a devoted and active member of Killen Church of Christ, where his faith and sense of community were central to his life. He was known for his warm spirit and generous heart. He truly never met a stranger and had a way of treating everyone like family.
Kenneth’s life was defined by kindness, hard work, and a genuine love for others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Kelley; mother, Irene Kelley; father, Otis Kelley; brothers, Aubrey Kelley and Walden Kelley; sisters, Lorene Lovelace, Christine Sutherland, and Shirley Williams.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Diann Kelley and Cindy Kelley; sister, Becky Jefferies (Larry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation Monday, April 27, 2026, from 1l:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Greenview Funeral Home in Florence, AL The funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Killen Church of Christ for the Ladies Service Group or to a charity of your choice in his name.
