Jefferson Allen King, age 58, of White House, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at his home. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Tuesday, April 28th, at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield.
Mr. King was born April 22, 1967, in Ypsilanti, MI, to Thomas Jefferson “Tom” King and the late Wilma Lou Webb King. He worked odd jobs as a handyman most of his life.
In addition to his mother, Mr. King was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carroll and Elsie Lafler, and Noah and Ella King; uncles: Bobby Jack King and Woodrow King; and aunts, Emma Lou Massenburg, Betty Day and Dorothy King.
He is survived by his father, Thomas Jefferson “Tom” King; brother, Noah Thomas King; sister, Rebecca Dawn King; aunt, Sandra Naïve; uncles, Samuel (Debbie) King, Billy Joe King, and Noah King; and nieces and nephews, Amanda, Richard, Derry and Brian
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
