Brenda Gayle Sullivan, aged 76, of Athens, Alabama, passed away at Athens Limestone Hospital on April 20th, 2026. Gayle was born on August 15th, 1949 to Walter Edward Powers and Margie Carpenter Powers.
Brenda is preceded by her parents, daughters; Tracy Renee Keel and Regina Kassay, grandson; Clinton Douglas Roberts (Clint), and her brother; David Glen Powers.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Richard (Sonny), her daughters; Lisa Miller (Barry) and Amanda Sullivan, brother; Jerry Powers, sister; Sandy Sivley (Benny), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on April 24th, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM. Funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Donald Terry officiating.
