Robert Paul Bishop, 57, passed away on April 20, 2026, at his home in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Born on March 7, 1969, Robert was a lifelong resident of Pontotoc. He graduated from Pontotoc High School in 1987, where he was a member of the football team and was honored as Mr. PHS.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Nicky Bishop; his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. T.I. Bishop and Mr. & Mrs. Leon Anderson, Dale Anderson; and his beloved dog, Cassie.
He is survived by his three children, Haze Bishop, Brooke Bishop, and Jarrett Bishop; his mother, Iva Jo Bishop; his brothers, Braden (Laurie) Bishop and Michael (Laurie) Bishop; and his nieces, Tiffany and Taylor. His beloved dog Phido also survives him.
Robert dedicated over 30 years of his life to the furniture industry, where he built not only a career but lasting relationships. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things—mowing yards, spending time outdoors, grilling, and visiting Pensacola. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his children.
Known for his humor and his big heart, Robert never met a stranger. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a way of making everyone feel welcome and cared for. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
