MUSCLE SHOALS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident near Muscle Shoals has taken the life of one person and sent two children to hospital with injuries:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. Sunday, April. 19, has claimed the life of a Leighton man.
Dwight D. Page Jr., 46, was critically injured when the 2013 Nissan Altima he was driving was struck by the 2025 Jeep Wrangler driven by Dyllon L. Autry Jr., 19, of Holly Springs Miss. Page was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. Page was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
A five-year-old and a five-month-old, who were both passengers in the Jeep, were injured and transported to a local Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 32 mile-marker, approximately five miles east of Muscle Shoals, in Colbert County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
