Vickie (Ray) Cantrell was born May 14th, 1971, to Bobby and Anna Ray of Lawrence County, AL. She departed from this life on April 17th, 2026. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She was the Matriarch whose world revolved around her Grandchildren and she Cherished every moment spent making memories with them. It was a life with very few strike outs when it came to family baseball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Anna Ray, her grandson, Jordan Grubaugh and great nephew, Landon Hill.
She is survived by her children; William (Mary) McCutcheon of Danville, Jessica McCutcheon of Decatur, grandchildren; Isaac Grubaugh, Jaden McCutcheon and Annie Rice. Siblings; Joe (Beth) Ray of Decatur, Vennessa (David) Cofield of Decatur, Danny Ray of Decatur, Shirley White of Decatur, Freddy Ray of Decatur and half sister, Cindy Baxter of TN. Her significant other, Ricky Schrimsher of Decatur, and a slew of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Decatur, AL on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 3 PM.
