Ernest R Bullard, Sr. Profile PhotoErnest Ralph Bullard, Sr., 89, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Ernest was a veteran of the United States Army and was proud to have served his country. He loved the outdoors, and you could often find him on his pontoon at the lake, fishing, dove hunting, or riding his tractor. He was known for his fantastic sense of humor and for always having an entertaining story to tell.

Ernest is survived by his son, Buddy Bullard (Debra); his grandchildren, Andy Bullard, Amanda Kirk, and Candice Kirk; his great-grandchildren, Caleb Bullard, Logan Bullard, and Nathan Mathis; and a host of other loved family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bullard; his parents, Andrew and Mentia Bullard; and his brothers, Edward, Edsel, and Earl.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers include Volly Bivins, Jr., John Castleberry, Johnny Turner, Buddy Poindexter, and Leroy Calton. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his honor to Disabled American Veterans.
