Funeral service for James Charley Anderson, Jr., of Athens, Alabama will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Round Island Creek Mission Center (13829 Lucas Ferry Road Athens, AL 35611) with Pastor Larry R. Lockett, Sr., officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at Thatch-Mann cemetery.
Public viewing will be held at the Peoples Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and family visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
