Ms. Diane Charlotte Mills Cotten, age 85, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Ripley where she had lived the last three years. She was born October 15, 1940 in Lee County, MS to the late Marvin Mills and Tambsy Bates Mills. Diane was a hard worker employed by TRI Realtors. She was a caring lady who loved to tell stories, and enjoyed gardening.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 4 PM, April 8, 2026 for family and close friends at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel with a graveside service at 1 PM, Thursday, April 9th at Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include two daughters, Jamie McAnally and Rhonda Cotton, both of Tupelo; 7 grandchildren, James Harper, Jessie McAnally, Kelly McAnally, Karley Berryhill, Dylan Berryhill, Haley Cotton and Summer Cotton; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob Saylors, MaKayla Johnson, Peyton McAnally, and Carter McAnally. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Edward Cotten who died in 2009; 2 sons, Michael Foster and Alan Foster; 1 daughter, Sandra Cotten.
