With sad but peaceful hearts the family of Dwain Marvin Woodley, 86, shares his passing, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Ridgewood Health Services.Dwain loved his Lord, his family and his country. He loved anything Alabama football and fishing and hunting. He was a sweet, honorable man and will be missed by oh so many.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Linda Woodley; his son David Woodley (Kallie), daughter-in-law, Trisha Woodley; stepsons, Phillip Pruett (Amy), Steven Pruett (Dusty); his grandchildren, Nic Woodley, Sara O’Rear (Wil) and Jessica Grace (Jordan), step-grandchildren, Charlie Beth Pruett, Greg Pruett, Haley Procacci and Abby Pruett; siblings, Carolyn Kilpatrick, Harvey Woodley and Buddy Woodley.
He was predeceased by son, Rodney Woodley; grandson, Lane Woodley; parents, Marvin and Ruby Tucker Woodley.
We will celebrate Dwain’s home going on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church after the morning service, which begins at 10:30 a.m., Bro. Josh Mays will preach the service.
