FLORENCE-Arts Alive is a project of the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts volunteers, and attracts hundreds of art and craft lovers from across the Southeast. Wilson Park in downtown Florence is packed with people for two days as they stroll, meet the artists, and purchase. Arts Alive is a family event, and families flock to the Park to participate!

Join us in Wilson Park for Arts Alive 2026.  The fun starts Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and continues Sunday, May 17, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Meet artists from around the south and beyond, explore the gallery in the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, grab some food at food trucks on Tuscaloosa Street and Wood Avenue, and take home some new artwork!

Arts Alive is a family-friendly event with opportunities to listen to local music, enjoy the kids’ crafts table, and learn more about the various media our artists work with every day. And yes, your pet is invited, too.
