Jamison Ray Frye, age 51, of Decherd, Tennessee, passed away on March 27, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on October 26, 1974, in Dade City, Florida, to Jennifer Frye.

Jamison worked as a skilled tile setter for many years, a trade he took great pride in. He was known for his strong work ethic and the craftsmanship he brought to every project he touched. Outside of work, Jamison lived life in a laid-back and easygoing way, enjoying simple pleasures and time spent relaxing.

An avid outdoorsman, Jamison found true happiness in nature. He especially loved fishing and bird watching, often taking in the quiet beauty of the outdoors. He was also a devoted Florida Gators football fan and could always be counted on to support his team with enthusiasm. Florida remained close to his heart throughout his life, and he cherished every opportunity to travel back and spend time with his family there.

In his younger years, he attended Spring Lake Methodist Church in Florida. Jamison will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his quick wit, and the many stories he loved to share. He had a natural way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and his kind heart left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Ruth Frye.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Jennifer Frye; his daughter, Cortney Frye; his sister, Nicole Allen and her husband John; along with several extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Florida.
