Orbin Lee Proctor, 85, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Decatur, AL. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Steven Dutton officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born on February 5, 1941, to Ira and Willie Welborn Proctor. Orbin enjoyed farming, horse back riding, and listening to blue grass music. Most importantly, he loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Jo Ann Proctor; children, Jeffrey (Robin) Proctor and Donna (Jamie) Hodge; grandchildren, Kaila (Heath) Morgan, Savannah (Bryant) England, Jesse Proctor, Bretinie (Jeremey) Alvis, and Dylan (Laekyn) Powell; great-grandchildren, Karson Morgan, Kohen Morgan, Klara Morgan, Caroline England, Sipsey England, Jacob Alvis, Ryder Alvis, and Willa Kate Alvis; sisters, Wanda Purser, Gerldean Bruton, and Teresa Oliver; brothers, Wendell Proctor, Johnny Proctor, Donald Proctor, Dwayne Proctor, and Frank Proctor; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Orbin was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Willie Proctor.
Pallbearers will be Heath Morgan, Bryant England, Jesse Proctor, Jeremy Proctor, Randall Proctor, and Jason Proctor.
The family extends special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
