Bryant “Bubba” Davis McKinney, Jr., 76, of Florence, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was retired as a machinist at TVA. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U. S. Navy.
Visitation will be Friday, March 27, 2026, from 1-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Central Heights Community Cemetery. Officiating will be James Tackett.
Bubba was preceded in death by his father, Bryant D. McKinney, Sr. and his mother, Billie Virginia Thornton McKinney; and his brother, Robert Delano McKinney.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Phillips McKinney; daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” McKinney Willis (Mark) and Jessica McKinney Diaz (Frank); son, Christopher “Chris” Lee McKinney; sisters, Jenny Stooksberry and Carol Reynolds; brother, Allen McKinney; grandchildren, Trevor and Hailey McKinney and Reagan, Rylee, and Reese Willis.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
