Charles Manley Arendale, Sr., 53, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Born on May 20, 1972, in Greenville, MS, he was the beloved son of Eddie Arendale, Sr. and Linda Arendale. Manley attended Greenville High School and later served as a police officer for the Greenville Police Department for two years. He was also known for his avid support of the Dallas Cowboys.
Manley is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Rebecca Arendale, and his loving children, Charles Arendale II and his wife Abigail, Jessica Smith and her husband Larry, and Haylee Cox and her husband Steven. He was a cherished grandfather to Jessie Crump, Ady Cox, Elijah Stegall, Julian Stegall, Montel Smith, O’marri Smith, Mikah Ratliff, and Stevie Arendale. He also leaves behind his sister, Melinda Arendale McDaniel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eddie Arendale, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, March 25, 2026, from 4-6PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. A graveside service will follow on Saturday afternoon, March 28, 2026, at 1PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, MS, with Bro. Arthur Scott officiating.
