Kyle Edward Holladay age 34, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Monday – September 25, 2023. Kyle was born in Plantation General Hospital in Plantation, Florida on January 25, 1989. He was smart, charming and good looking. As a little boy his nickname was “Spike.” His blonde hair stood straight up! Everyone loved Kyle, especially his father being blessed with his second son. Kyle and Keith, his older brother became very close at an early age and remained that way until Kyle passed away. Keith was always looking out for Kyle. At a young age Kyle loved solving things with his mind. His thoughts then became an actual object. He loved working with his hands and you could often find Kyle in the garage creating something special. Kyle was a perfectionist just like his father Edd and his brother Keith. Kyle first worked at Mendol Marine on diesel engines which took him to many places around the world. Kyle and Keith opened their own automotive shop where they created many spectacular things together. Kyle decided to move to LaFayette, Georgia when Keith found property, they both loved. He got a job at Vaughn’s Hot Rods in Fort Oglethorpe. He loved working there with people he respected. He brought integrity and honesty and perfection to his job every day. Kyle thought of the people at Vaughns as his family and cherished each of them. Kyle met a beautiful girl named Ashley that he loved. Ashley filled the one thing missing from his life. She brought him so much joy and happiness, she was his world! When Kyle moved here and his father Edd passed away, a wonderful family filled his life. The Hicks family, Mike Hicks became a father figure to him and he loved and appreciated him so very much. Many of Kyle’s cousins, aunts, uncles, grandfather and friends will miss him deeply. He will always be held in their hearts, often thought of and greatly missed. His mother Deborah, brother Keith and his sweetheart Ashley will undoubtedly miss him the most. He brought love, happiness, joy and excitement to their lives. Kyle was a son a brother and a friend. We will all miss his bright smile and his love. There are no words that can change this loss, but knowing Kyle would want us all to go on and find happiness and live our lives like he did. The family will have a Celebration of Kyle’s Life at 7:00 pm – Wednesday – October 4, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
