Sanford Junior Thomas, age 89, of Toney died March 19, 2026 at AHC Meadowbrook in Pulaski, Tennessee. He was born July 11, 1936 in Jackson County, Alabama to Sam and Martha Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Baptist Church and is survived by his daughter, Anita Dungy of Toney, sons, Greg Thomas of Athens, and Steven Thomas of Elkmont, sister, Alma Jean Ransom of Hazel Green, three grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
The family will have a visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22nd, at Spry Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23rd, in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
