Leon Lynn “Spider” Reeves, Sr., 67 of Empire, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. He loved music, western movies, and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Polly Reeves, and the mother of his children, Tammie Busby. Survivors include his children, Leona Cordell (Kirk), and Leon Reeves (Jessica); grandchildren, Nikki Key (Hunter), Sebastian York (Anisha), Zach Reeves, Noah Reeves, Owen Reeves, Braylan Cordell, Judd Bradley, Jolie Bradley, Waylon Reeves, Josiah Reeves, Mila Reeves, and Layla Reeves; great grandchildren, Tucker Key and Willie Key; sisters, Gloria Freeman (Jerry) and Regina Henson (Butch); best friend, Frankie Isbell; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will follow at New Canaan Cemetery.
