Angie Faye Champion Funeral service for Angie Faye Champion, 84, will be Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, March 20, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Champion passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her residence.  She was born July 28, 1941, in Limestone County,  to Woodrow W. Moore and Virgie Brumitt Moore.

She was a Baptist in her faith. Although she only had a 4th grade education, she worked hard at whatever jobs she could to raise her children. She started working as an aide, on a special education bus, and eventually became a bus driver herself, working until she retired. She loved working until her retirement and loved working with her group of kids. She also enjoyed doing things with her own children and dearly loved being around her grandchildren and all of her greats as well.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Johnnie Paul Champion, her parents, a son- Larry Champion, a daughter- Barbara Fricks, a brother- Lavoyd Moore, two sisters- Cora Hann and Carol Slaten, and step-brothers- Buddy Wilson, and Donald Sparks.

Survivors include

Daughter – Nancy Leathers,

Sons – John Champion,
Harold Champion, and
Maverick Champion

Brothers- William Moore,
Steve Moore, and
Danny Moore.

Sister – Fran Rhynes,

Twelve Grandchildren,

Twenty-one- Great Grandchildren, and

Eight Great Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Richie Leathers, Jason Leathers, Nathan Champion, Charles Fricks, T.K. Champion, and Toby Clark.
