Kevin Matthew Ford, age 48 of Boaz passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Highpoint Cemetery. Bro. Steven Harvey will officiate his service and a eulogy will be given by Kolton Blackwel. Pallbearers will be Christopher Harvey, Austin Harvey, Charlie Ford, Devan Davis, Wesley Lusk and Yahchayah Hodge. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife; Chastin LaShae Ford, sons; Mason Ford, Jonah Ford and Kolton Blackwell (Leecia Oliver), mother; Myra Pruitt Ford, brothers; Greg Ford (Alisha) and Jamie Ford (Tracie) and sisters; Tammy Mitchell (Kyle) and Christie Harvey (Steven). He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, sixteen great-nieces and great-nephew, mother-in-law: Shelby Plunkett, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends,
He is preceded in death by his father; Tommy Wayne Ford and his grandparents; Autrey and Mattie Silas Ford and James Henry and Wenona Spears Pruitt.
The family would like to give special thanks to his Hospice caregivers.
