Katherine (Kitty) Allen, 88, of Muscle Shoals, passed away March 5, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, March 8 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Florence with Brother Henry Melton officiating. Burial will follow in Center Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Charlie Crowley, Jordan Jaggers, McKnight Carr, Marshall Jerkns, Jody Lanier, Cade Allen, Jaxon Allen, and Michael Bange.
She is preceded in death by her parents Annie McGee Bevis and Herman McGee; husband, Charles Wesley Allen; brothers, Richard McGee, and G.A. McGee.
Kitty is survived by her children Johnny Allen (Cynthia), Lisa Griffin, Randy Allen, LeAnne Allred (Justin); brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, and Jerry. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Whitney, Tamra, Marianne, Gracie, and Charlie; great-grandchildren, Cade, Macy, Brylee, Jaxon, Millie, George, Memphis, Hank, and Virgina.
Kitty enjoyed reading, swimming, and mountain trips with her girlfriends. She loved spending time with family and catering to her grandchildren, especially Charlie.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for the compassionate care provided to our mother. We extend a special thank you to Leann Darby, Deborah Darby, Kim Bailey, Stephanie Farfan, and Cindy Phillips for the love, kindness, and dedication you showed while caring for her as if she were a member of your own family.
