David Webster "Webb" GlantonDavid Webster “Webb” Glanton, 23, of Athens, Alabama, left this earth far too soon on March 2, 2026. Born on March 25, 2002, Webb lived a life marked by generosity and a deep love for the people and places that meant the most to him.

Webb had a larger-than-life personality and a giving heart. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He found his greatest joy in the outdoors; especially spending time on the Elk River and Anderson Creek, where many of his happiest memories were made. His free spirit and genuine kindness touched everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Shane and Clarissa Glanton of Athens, Alabama; his sister, Lillian Claire Glanton; his brother, Jack Wynford “Wynn” Glanton; his Grandparents, David and Alice Glanton, and Tom and Jacquelaine Wright; his Great-Grandmother, Evelyn Marbut, his aunts, Gina Gentry and her husband Andy, Lucinda Sims, and his uncle Trace Sims. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

The family asks for prayers and privacy during this difficult time.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.

A Celebration of Life for Webb will be held on Sunday, May 24th, at 7:00 p.m. on Anderson Creek, located at 495 County Road 564, Rogersville, Alabama 35652. All are welcome to attend by boat or land to honor and remember him.
