Cody Lambert Profile PhotoA Celebration of Life Service for Cody Lambert, 88 of Burnsville, MS, will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Antioch Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Burnsville, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Greg Woodruff will officiate the service. Mr. Lambert was born March 5, 1938 in Burnsville, MS to James Clyde Lambert and Willie Lee Holder Lambert and was a member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. He loved playing bluegrass music on his guitar, which he played by ear. He enjoyed gardening, where he had a green thumb and taking care of his home. Cody was a barber for over 40 years, was a jokester and never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family. Cody is survived by his sons, Buford Cody Lambert and Buddy Brumley (Laurie); his daughters, Lisa Smith and Cynthia Sales (Kelvin); 6 grandchildren, Eric Smith (Stephanie), Whitney Collums, Clarissa LaBarre (Selby), Taylor Sales, Christopher Sales and Gianna Sales; 4 great grandchildren, Alivia Moore, Stella Collums, Esme Smith and Cora LaBarre; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Janis Lambert; his parents, Jim “Chigger” and Willie Lee Holder Lambert; his brothers, Richard Lambert, J.C. Lambert, Billy Joe Lambert, Leland Lambert and Robert Lambert and his sisters, Tommy Brown, Clydale Epperson, Georgia Bonds and Annie Lee Lambert. Pallbearers will be Eric Smith, Christopher Sales, Randy Mincy and Kelvin Sales. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Cody Lambert.
