Margaret Anna Moss, 92, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 3,2026, at Madison Hospital in Madison, Alabama.
She was born on Friday, June 9, 1933, in Athens, Alabama to the late Fred Purdy and Katherine Hunter Purdy in Manito, Illinois.
Margaret lived half of her life in Ardmore, Tennessee. She was member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church as well as Homemakers Club of Ardmore.
She loved spending time with her family. Margaret enjoyed antiquing and gardening.
She is preceded in death by husband, Eldridge Moss, both of her parents, as well as two sons: Gerald Moss and Robert Moss.
She is survived by two sons; Danny Moss, Gregory Moss, one daughter; Pamela Moss, five grandchildren: Justin, Avery, Cameron, Bradley, Freddy as well as two great grandchildren: Meadow and Braylon
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM located at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama, beginning at 3:30 PM with Bro. Tony Boyles officiating.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
