Austin Grant Goodwin 47433204  Austin Grant Goodwin passed away on February 27, 2026, at home after a long battle with leukemia, surrounded by the love of his family.

Austin was the beloved son of Danny and Donna Goodwin and was deeply cherished by all who knew him. He carried the innocence of a child and had a kind heart, a big smile, and a joyful, happy demeanor that made it impossible not to love him. Austin brought light into every room and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Austin found joy in the simple things he loved most. He enjoyed watching YouTube on his computer, wrestling, cartoons, Disney characters, The Three Stooges, and Drew Carey. He loved walking the sidewalks and neighborhoods of his small town and found comfort in familiar routines. Austin was a homebody who got especially excited about food and loved getting takeout. One of his greatest joys was being an uncle. He loved his nieces and nephews fiercely, always checking on them and keeping up with their interests and activities.

Though his life held challenges, Austin gave far more than he ever required. He taught patience, compassion, and unconditional love simply by being himself. His life was meaningful, full, and deeply loved.

Austin was surrounded by unwavering devotion and care throughout his life. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is now in Heaven, whole and at peace.

Austin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Donna Ann Smith, and Jr. and Pearlie Goodwin.

Austin is survived by his loving parents, Danny and Donna Goodwin; his siblings, brother Justin Goodwin (wife Sommer), sister Ashley Shelton (husband Drew), and sister Amber Clemmons (husband Daniel); his nieces Ansley Shelton, Skye Goodwin, and Brynley Shelton; and his nephews Hudson Goodwin, Sutton Shelton, Abel Clemmons, and Aiden Clemmons. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

He will be laid to rest at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery. A private graveside service for family will be held in his memory.
