Linda Gail Alexander, 76 of Blountsville passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at her residence. She was born May 8, 1949 in Blount County, the daughter of J.B. Underwood and Inez Self Underwood. She worked at Deltacom until her retirement and was married to Roy Wayne Alexander, who passed away December 16, 2025.
She is survived by her children: Curtis (Autumn) Alexander and Amy (Nicky) Moore; five grandchildren; sister: Tammy Underwood; brother: Rick Underwood; sister-in-law: Susie Underwood; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Alexander, parents: J.B. and Inez Underwood and brothers: Kenneth Underwood and Donny Underwood.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Don Newman officiating. The burial will be in Diamond Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Clayton Jay, Lucas Jay, Marshall Alexander, Nicky Moore, Hershel Alexander and Matthew Pearce.
