Mary Katherine Carter, age 80 of Maylene, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Grandview Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Leonard Rigsby will officiate.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her Husband-Jimmy R. Carter; Mother-Erin Sanders Galloway; Father-John Ervin Galloway; Sisters-June Galloway Hood (Bob) and Margaret Galloway Franklin (Vernon).
She is survived by her Daughter-Tracy Carter (John Farley); Son-John David Carter (Dana Wilson Carter); Grandchildren-Addison and Luke; Sister-Martha Galloway Self (Sammy Self).
