Mrs. Nancy Vaughan Marshall, age 85, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on February 23, 2026. She was born on June 30, 1940, to the late Buren and Ethel Vaughan.
Nancy was a longtime and faithful member of Fairview Methodist Church of Hustleville, where she devoted many years to serving her church family. She taught classes, faithfully attended Bible study, and was an integral part of the congregation she loved so dearly. Her faith and servant’s heart were evident in the way she cared for others with compassion and kindness.
An avid golfer, Nancy was a member of the Albertville Country Club and greatly enjoyed the friendships she formed there. In her spare time, she loved crafting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Known for always tending to others, Nancy lived a life marked by service, generosity, and a love for having a good old-fashioned time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Byron Lee Marshall; son, Doug (Tabatha) Martin; daughters, Selina (Todd) Wood and Elizabeth (Brian) Walter; grandchildren, Stephanie Martin, Rollin Martin, Ceanna Long (Trevor) Goolesby, Jason Holter, Tabitha Holter (Mack) Wilcox, Clifford Holter, Olivia Wood, Maggie Wood (Clayton) Thompson, Robert (Caroline) Walter, Will (Amber) Walter, and Sam (Reese) Walter; great-grandchildren, Jayelynn Wilcox, Isabella Wilcox, Garrett Wilcox, Emerlay Goolesby, Eleanor Goolesby, Gwen Walter, Townes Walter, Tyler Thompson, and Sadie Grace Holter; and siblings, Douglas Vaughan, Charlotte Vaughan, and Letitia Vaughan.
