James Everett Davis, born February 5, 1957, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at HH Hospice Family Care with family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlene and Houston Davis; brother, B.J. Davis; son, James Davis; and nephew, Christopher Morrison.
Surviving are his sisters, Carla Davis and Barbara Morrison; children, Chad and Melissa Davis; and his significant other, Paulette Robertson.
Mr. Davis, known to family and friends as Sneaky, loved his family and friends dearly. He loved being outdoors and fishing at his sister’s pond. Before he had a stroke a few years ago, he was very active with his hands and could build anything and work on anything.
He was loved by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. A special thanks to Felicia Kelley for helping during this time.
Our family would like to give our gratitude and thanks to the RN and Dr. on 7MST at Huntsville Hospital and to the RN at HH Hospice Family Care. Each one of them treated him and us with the utmost respect, and we appreciate that the most.
A celebration of life will be set at a different date.
