Patricia Murray Traylor, 73, of Huntsville, passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital, surrounded by her immediate family, following a brief illness.
For more than 50 years, Patricia dedicated her life to sharing her passion for the art of dance as a deeply beloved teacher, mentor, choreographer, and performer. She retired in 2023 as Ballet Director of Jill’s Studio of Dance, leaving behind a legacy that shaped generations of dancers. Patricia touched the lives of all who had the privilege of learning from her, mentoring countless students, and forming lasting bonds with them and their families.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Patrick, and her parents, Raymond and Marie Murray. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley; her daughter, Annalee; her sister, Kathy Gladden; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
