William Anthony PackWilliam Anthony Pack, aged 78, of Athens, departed this life on Monday, February 16th, 2026, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Born on March 20th, 1947, in Athens, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Louise Gee Pack.

Mr. Pack leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Charlotte Wilson Pack; his daughter, Charmin Durham (Chris), of Athens; and his son, Anthony “Tony” Pack (Marge), also of Athens. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Rouse, and Marie Taymon (Robbie), both residing in Athens, and his brothers, Larry Pack (Cathy), and Greg Pack (Amanda), also of Athens.

Mr. Pack was a proud grandfather to Mark Pack (Karl), John Pack (Chelsey), Chyenne Burrow (Ryan), Jackie Burkholder (Keith), Jessica Trussell (Tanner), and Trisha Bragdon (Brandon). His legacy extends to his great-grandchildren: Graham, Isla, Ender, Griffin, Madelynn, Sarah, Gabby, Caroline, Skyler, and Roman. He will also be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Anthony is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Pack and Thomas Jackson Pack; and his sisters, Brenda Bell Defoe and Carolyn Ann Neely.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, at 12:00 p.m., with Terry Lamar and Terry Brown officiating. Mr. Pack will be laid to rest at Athens City Cemetery. Logan Stewart, Jamie Ridinger, Matthew Pack, Billy Jones, Jeff Poole, and Ben Carter have the honor of pallbearers, and Graham Pack, Brandon Bragdon and Keith Burkholder as honorary pallbearers.

Anthony was a cherished member of the Lebanon Community Church and dedicated his time as a volunteer with Mercy Chefs. His legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family and community will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege to know him.
