John Burdine, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, June 08, 2013 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Inc. and a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Burdine served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Russell and Lucile Springer Burdine; two brothers, Edward Russell Burdine, Jr. and Thomas Burdine; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth “Dadie” Harvey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 11, 2013, with Jeremiah Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to the Lawrence County Public Library.
