Mary Bender Keiffer, born on April 1, 1936, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 89. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gilbert L. Keiffer.
Mary was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
She is survived by her four children Christa Keiffer, Margaret Keiffer, Sheila Powers, and Timothy Keiffer, six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at Valhalla Funeral Home, located at 698 Winchester Road NE, Huntsville, AL, 35811. She will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mary’s honor.
