Linda Likos Lyles Linda Lyles passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Linda was proceeded in death by her father, Steven Likos, mother, Shirely Donaldson Likos, and her brother, Eric Likos.  She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth Lyles, son, Paul Brubaker (Shannon), daughter Christie Norris (Paul), grandsons, Matthew Norris and Dylan Brubaker, granddaughter Dana Brubaker Jones (Brandon), and great grandson Ryland Jones.  She also leaves behind one brother Mark Likos (Sharon).

Linda was born in Washington DC but lived most of her life in Huntsville, AL.  She graduated from Lee High School and attended Auburn University. Prior to retirement She worked as an art teacher and in various capacities in Virginia and Huntsville, primarily with Capital Planning and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Linda met her husband Ken while they were both working at SAIC.  They shared a love of traveling and vacationing, particularly at the beach.
A passionate visual artist, Linda donated many hours to her craft and to teaching others, Also strong in her Christian faith, she was active in leadership in various churches  Linda had a passion to be involved in prayer ministry passion where she not only prayed for those in need but taught others how to pray and minister.

Linda leaves behind many friends whose lives she impacted in many positive ways.

Funeral services are being handled by Berryhill Funeral Home.  A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.  A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a contribution to a children’s charity of your choice or The NET Community Church.
