Dorothy Jane Anderson, age 96, of Jasper, Alabama, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1929.
Dorothy was a lifelong and devoted member of the Church of God. Her faith was the foundation of her life and a guiding light to her family and friends. She found great joy in sewing and was known for her talent and creativity. Dorothy also loved planting flowers in her yard, taking pride in keeping her home bright and beautiful.
She is survived by her loving sons, Gerald Stewart (Charlotte) and Terrell Stewart; her sister, Betty Wells; as well as extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin Stewart and Jack Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Boldo Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Larry McGuff.
Dorothy’s life was marked by faith, love, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
