George Oneal McLemore age 87 of Russellville, AL passed away on February 8, 2026 surrounded by family. He was a member of Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church in Ardmore, TN. He lived his faith daily and wanted everyone to know and love his Savior.
He is preceded in death by his wife Carol McLemore, daughter, Brenda Westenberger, sons, Jeff and Terry McLemore.
He is survived by his daughters, Jacque Akins, Ardmore, TN, Tina Fritts (Jim) of Ardmore, TN, Valerie Garrison (Daryl) of Tuscumbia, AL; Grandchildren, Christy McLemore, Cherri Tranthom (Joe), Carl McLemore (Amber), Kenny Westenberger (Kerry), Brandon Westenberger (Michaela), Abigail Prince (Jacob), Sarah Jamerson (Adam), James Fritts (Kari), John Fritts (Samantha), Hannah Hardiman ( Joshua), Nathanael Fritts, Cecilia Montgomery (Caleb), Maegen Evetts, Molly Evetts Torey Baird (Danah), Trevor Baird (Dayne), and Marsha Gates, and 18 great-grand kids.
Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2026 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, AL, with Bro. Michael Cothren, officiating from 12:00 – 2:00 and service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be immediately following at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
