Funeral service for Walter G. “Bubba” Price, 76, will be Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Baggett officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Price passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Hospice Family Care. He was born February 18, 1949, in Morgan County, to Charles Price and Dorothy Greene Price, who preceded him in death.
He was employed with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, as a Captain working Vice and was a Narcotics Officer. He was employed for 42 years with the department. He was a Baptist in his faith. Mr. Price is also a United States Air Force Veteran, serving 4 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
