Jean’s early life in Mississippi laid a strong foundation for the values she would carry throughout her life. Embracing the Christian faith, she became a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN.

Professionally, Jean dedicated several years of her life to Balfour Rings as a saleswoman. Her work ethic and genuine nature made her not just an employee but a cherished colleague. Jean’s passion for her work was matched only by her commitment to her church and community.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Steve Lancaster (Julie), Jeff Lancaster (Kim), Debra Kennedy (Tim), and Tracy Tinsley (Mike); grandchildren, Matthew Lancaster, Brooke Bennet, Jessica Truan, Abby Yost, Josh Bounds, Ryan Kennedy, Thomas Tinsley, John Tinsley, Lauren Lindsey, Rachel Lancaster, Stephen Lancaster, Anna Lancaster, Daniel Lancaster, Rene Lancaster, and Caroline Lancaster; brother, Roger Brisco; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lancaster; brother, Lester Brisco; sisters, Leverne Taylor and Lanora Clifton; and sister-in-law, Janie Brisco.

As we bid farewell to Jean, we celebrate a life profoundly lived and a spirit that will continue to inspire. Jean’s journey on earth has ended, but her story will resonate forevermore. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
