Christy Lynn Holland, 48, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. A born-again Christian and member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Christy loved spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved pets Lucy, Duke, Cletus, and Rufus. She enjoyed camping, fishing, riding ATVs, shooting, crafting, working on puzzles, painting, thrifting, and browsing yard sales. A devoted Ole Miss football and Atlanta Braves fan, she also loved attending classic car and truck shows.
Christy is survived by her husband, Corey Holland; her brothers, Scott Palmertree (Rhonda) and Blake Brandon; her sisters, Heather Palmertree (Ashley) and Ashley Bogle (Mike); and her dear friend and caregiver, Patty Holcomb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary and Paulette Palmertree, as well as her stepmother, Carol Palmertree.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 4 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church, with visitation starting at 2 PM. Bro. Frank Wilder will officiate, and burial will follow in the Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Adam Langham, Brock Langham, Greg Langham, Cassidy Webb, Caelon Talmadge, Hunter Holland, Michael Wilson, and Mark Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons or the Baptist Association Food Pantry.
