Marsha Estes Clements, age 73 of Dora, passed away on Friday, January 30th, 2026.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Coal City Cemetery.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Jack Comer and Laura Hester Estes and sister Sue Aaron (Rufus Leon, Jr.).
She is survived by her Husband Jerry Ray Clements; Daughters – Amy Tolbert (Jimmie) and Leslie Thomas; Granddaughter Lilly Rylan Thomas; Sisters – Betty Rodrigue (Fred), Ann Edgil (Paul, deceased) and Judy Walton (Larry).
Marsha and Jerry were married 57 years. Her greatest love was her family. After a 30-year career in Education (Elementary teacher, Vice-Principal and Principal) she and Jerry retired to Orange Beach, Alabama where they enjoyed many years together. During her career she helped so many children. First Lady Laura Bush honored Marsha for her tireless dedication to the Elementary Education System. Marsha also enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She loved the Lord and the church and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
